The Colors of Manhood

Lately, I've found myself reflecting on the men who have quietly shaped our lives, and on the kind of beauty that so often goes unnamed.

Through my eyes as a woman and my hands as an artist, I do not see hardness where the world insists there should be hardness alone. I see tenderness wrapped in restraint, generations of memory written into skin, posture, silence, and song.

My work seeks to recover the forgotten colors of manhood—the quiet strength, the vulnerability, the resilience, and the sacredness of men created in the image of God. I paint with the belief that every face carries ancestry, every scar carries testimony, and every soul reflects divine brilliance.

In their honor, I'm quietly releasing three new limited edition pieces for a limited time ahead of Father's Day: MALIK, MAVERICK, and BILAL.

These portraits are my small offering of gratitude—a celebration of the fathers, sons, brothers, husbands, mentors, and father figures whose presence has left an imprint on generations. They are for the men who deserve flowers while they can still receive them, words of affirmation while they can still hear them, and reminders that they have always been worthy of being deeply seen.

My hope is that these pieces serve as both artwork and witness, honoring the beauty that has been there all along.

Thank you, as always, for allowing my work a place in your homes and in your stories.

Wishing you and those you love a meaningful Father's Day.

With gratitude,

Kristen
